The Global Education Association, in coordination with Potter's Centro de Idiomas, is pleased to offer Spanish Immersion programs in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Our Spanish Immersion programs are personalized, and we offer both small group and private classes for all levels. With skilled, native instructors, students will learn both the technical aspects of the Spanish language and the culture and traditions of Mexico. In class, students will focus on grammar, pronunciation, writing, vocabulary and conversation skills. In their home-stay, students will sample home-cooked Mexican cuisine, learn traditional games, explore culture, converse in Spanish and become part of a Mexican family.

For an immersion program to be effective, it is important that students are completely surrounded by their target language.  For this reason, all of our classes are taught in Spanish, and conversations at the school and with host families are in Spanish.  Students quickly learn how to ask for what they need as well as how to listen and express themselves in their new language.

Upon applying, students are given a written evaluation in order to place them at an appropriate level and prepare their personalized curriculum before they arrive.  For private classes, students can opt to take both a written and verbal evaluation upon arrival.

In addition, we arrange for each student to stay with a host family.  The home-stay program provides you with a private bedroom, a full bathroom and 3 meals daily.  The host family also provides you with a great opportunity to practice Spanish and to learn the native culture. We carefully screen each family to ensure our students receive the best care during their stay in Guadalajara.

The basic program includes four hours of class instruction a day, but additional hours are available for interested students.

Two weeks of semi-private (2 students) instruction, four hours per day (**without weekend tour) is $867 USD per student.

 

Two weeks of small group (3-6 students) instruction, four hours per day (**without weekend tour) is $824 USD per student.

 

Four weeks of private instruction, four hours per day (**without weekend tour) is $2,418 USD per student.

 

Four weeks of semi-private (2 students) instruction, four hours per day (**without weekend tour) is $1,728 USD per student.

 

Four weeks of small group (3-6 students) instruction, four hours per day (**without weekend tour) is $1,642 USD per student.

 

**Weekend tour is an additional $86 USD per five-hour session per student.
